Our mission is to elevate athletes to their greatest potential, by optimizing their training to prevent injuries from fatigue. When injuries occur, athletes endure physical and mental complications, in addition to staggering medical bills and treatment. This not only interferes with immediate training schedules, but chronic pain exacerbated by the initial injury can impair an athlete for the rest of their career, reducing their overall athletic potential.
Our device aims to provide athletes with a safeguard towards potential injuries by utilizing lactate as an indicator of muscle fatigue. When lactate build up in the muscles exceeds a certain threshold, it can indicate when the body has an increased risk of injury from fatigue. In an easy to use, versatile, and affordable patch, our device allows the user to know their lactate levels at a glance, without the need to pause their training or take a blood sample.
